Our environmental management plan reflects our dedication to sustainability, community engagement, and responsible tourism. We aim to minimize our environmental footprint through conscientious practices, innovative solutions, and continuous improvement. We try to minimise the amount of waste we generate and manage the waste we can’t prevent. Our strategies include:
Sorting and responsible recycling or disposal of waste.
Food and paper waste is composted or feed to the chickens or worms.
Glass and can recycling.
Guests are encouraged to contribute by sorting, recycling and composting their waste.
Avoiding single use plastics which significantly reduces landfill waste. We choose to use refillable bottles including pure, natural spa products by Salus Body and Koala Eco's safe, plant-based cleaning products, both Australian manufactured and owned companies that align with our sustainability ethos.
